Our wedding cake was totally breathtaking and we are so glad we left Minel to her own devices to design it as her talent and creativity shone through!
I especially love the meticulous attention to detail with regards to matching my outfit.
As for the taste, it was absolutely delicious and our guests all loved her signature pistachio and rose flavour, it received many compliments. She is a true professional, also being able to cater for our vegan and gluten free guests, and we would HIGHLY recommend her.

In a league of their own
Cakes by Minel made us our PERFECT wedding cake. She gave really helpful advice regarding flavours and portions, we were thrilled with the 3 flavours we chose
It was really important to us to have an eggless cake and a vegan option, all the other eggless cake samples we'd tried were so disappointing.
These cakes were in a league of their own and all of our guests agreed!
Minel gave us loads of design options too and when we decided on a simple plan she stayed true to our vision and worked our colour theme into the table setting on the day.

We had the pleasure of having Minel do our wedding cake and boy was it one of the best decisions we made! From the initial conversation to the end, Minel went above and beyond and was always on hand to answer any questions we had.
Her ideas and creativity were perfect for the theme we had in mind and the cake looked amazing. The chocolate cake was devoured by my nephew who loves loves loves chocolate cake so that was a big hit!! The rose and pistachio was absolutely delicious and the flavours worked well together. Amazing professionalism
The wedding cake looked absolutely amazing in the flesh. Guests were in awe of the looks, but more importantly the taste of the cakes were scrumptious. We had elderflower lemon and chocolate orange tiers, and both were great.

Hi Minel, we would like to say a huge thank you for our wedding cake, it exceeded our expectations, the discs in particular looked so so good and the wire was the cherry on the top. We had to bring our wedding forward due to my late mother in law being terminally ill. Originally we were getting married in May, but sadly prognosis wasn’t great so we brought it forward to February. Minel was supportive and approachable and always open to ideas. Sadly, my mother in law didn’t make it to the wedding but Minel came up with an idea. She incorporated my late mother in laws flower for the top of the cake as a sign of respect.
Minel is an outstanding, creative and caring person whom I would recommend highly!! The cake was absolutely amazing! The detail and the colours tied in well with wedding colours. I gave Minel creative freedom so never saw my finished cake till the day and OMG did she amazed us, you just have to look at the photos!The flavours were so outstanding and even better it was baked using vegan ingredients. Minel puts her heart into her cakes and you definitely will not be let down.We have recommended Minel to other couples who have gone onto get married and she has produced some amazing cakes for them too!We want to say THANK YOU! Tasted amazing
Minel was incredibly accommodating. She involved us throughout the process and helped us to bring our imagination to life. Not only that, the cake itself tasted amazing, we had 3 different flavours and each was incredible (special shout to the Lemon sponge).
We had multiple compliments and comments throughout the day complimenting the cake, some didn't even realise it was the cake the effect was so good!

Dreamiest wedding cake
Cakes by Minel made THE dreamiest wedding cake for us! She really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. She took everything into consideration put her own twist to it and executed it perfectly!! The cake was absolute perfection aesthetically and looked way too beautiful to cut but my word was it worth absolutely destroying!!

An amazing bespoke wedding cake crafted with care and brilliant attention to detail by Minel. The service provided by Minel from start to delivery was flawless, she worked hard to ensure we had the best. The cake itself was probably the best we'd ever tasted - we wanted more the next day! And just to put a cherry on top she very kindly gave us some complimentary cupcakes on returning her cake stand.

Perfect decision
We used Minel for our wedding cake and honestly it was a perfect decision. Organising a wedding is stressful so when a vendor it able to make your life easy it’s always a welcome bonus. Minel did that for us. The experience from start to finish was brilliant. The cake looked stunning, the price range was fair. The main thing for a cake, is taste and the taste was amazing. All our guest loved the cake.
I would honestly recommend Minel, her service and product are both equally amazing.
